The BIO-SANDFILTER continuous sand filtration system enables a continuous filtration system. Wastewater enters the filter bed through the inlet pipe, water supply pipe, and water distributor. The wastewater flows upwards and is filtered by the sand layer, while the filtered clean water is discharged from the upper part. Water flows upwards while the filter bed moves downwards, and the dirty sand is continuously separated and cleaned before being sent back to the top of the sand bed. The circulation of the sand filter is based on the principle of air lift, forcing the mixture of dirty sand and water to move upwards through the central tube. Intense washing separates impurities from sand particles, and at the top of the central pipe, air is released and sewage is discharged. Then, the sand falls into the top sand washer by gravity, where it is cleaned with a small amount of filtrate to ultimately remove trace dirt from the sand filter. The liquid level difference between the filtrate and the washing water is the driving force for this cleaning water. The sand filtration system can be made into a pool structure or a steel tank structure according to the actual situation of the project, which is convenient for quick delivery.
